Dead Ringers Episode 39: TREMORS + GRABBERS

Nolan is joined by Thomas Foster and Philip Yount — as well as special guest Jeff Ewing from the Humanoids From The Deep Dive podcast — to discuss Ron Underwood’s Tremors (1990) and Jon Wright’s Grabbers (2012). The crew digs into new discoveries, rewatches, and recent horror releases — including a review of Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) — before getting drunk while playing a deadly game of floor-is-lava in order to fend off big monsters with one big weakness.

Other movies discussed on this episode: Pitch Black (2000) (Cinemax), Freaky (2020) (VOD), The Empty Man (2020) (VOD), Exists (2014) (Tubi TV), Shadow In The Cloud (2021) (VOD), Saint Maud (2020) (Epix), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) (HBO Max).

As will always be the case with this show, be aware that our discussion contains spoilers. If you want to watch the movies before listening to the show, there are a couple of ways you can do so. Tremors is available to stream on Starz and Grabbers is available to stream on Shudder and AMC+. Both are also on video-on-demand, as well as being available for purchase on Blu-ray or DVD.
